CALLED MY OFFICE NUMBER! ASKED FOR MY FIRST NAME AND A PREVIOUS LAST NAME THAT I HAVE NOT USED IN OVER 12 YEARS. ADVISED THERE WAS NO ONE HERE BY THAT NAME AND IT WAS A WORK LINE DO NOT CALL BACK

IRS SCAM- "claiming that me or my sister owe them over $20k in back fines, if I didnt give them credit card # A warrant would be issued for my arrest within 6 hours.
They call me from 206-777-1963. Always treating to put me in jail if funds aren't sent immediately to a PO BOX In Washington State.

I answered and waited for 40 seconds before anyone came on the line and they asked for me by name. I inquired as to who it was, he stated Convergence, and wouldn't tell me what this was regarding, then when I told him I need to know what it's regarding, he said, "Ok, I understand,, ok" and hung up

They called my parents home looking for me--that was the first clue that something was off. I haven't given out my folks number for me in more than 15 years. It was a recorded message saying that if the person who answered the phone wasn't me (the person they called for) to push number 3 (I think it was was #3) then the recorded message ended. So I called back (my number blocked) and asked what the name of their company was. The lady who answered the phone refused to answer the question asking that I first answer a few questions. I further insisted she tell me the name of her company and she said that they handle business matters for various companies. I immediately hung up. Scammers!

I have no idea how they got my name/number, but I've been getting excessive phone calls stating they are "converges"... Extremely rude and refusing and real information. I've blocked the number.
