I received the same type of phone call on 3/28/2015.
This is the second time that I have received this type of phone call. These people must be idiots.
He introduced himself as Benjamin Franklin. Next time I bet you he calls himself Jefferson Monroe.

Caller: Benjamin Franklin from the IRS, yeah right.

Had the same experience as above. I received a message today on answering service saying they were the Office of Benjamin Franklin and there has been legal notice of tax invasion filed against us and to call this number before getting arrested or going to court. The IRS would never leave a message on an answering service and would correspond by official mail not a phone call. This is a scam so beware if you get this call.

Called at 0830 heavy accent recorded message saying before you get arrested, you must call this number, said being sued by the IRS. IRS DOES NOT CALL PEOPLE ...husband told them to .... off!
