Received call this morning saying it was the IRS and was being litigated for tax evasion. Total scam! The IRS doesn't just call people out of the blue without sending some kind of notification first.
I heard this guy on my machine talking to someone else,he said he would sexually assault her.
I received two messages (identical) on my answering machine---the messages stated "this is an automated message from the Internal Revenue Service", and instructed either me or my attorney to call back immediately at that number.... the message did go on to state "If I don't hear from your or your attorney either the only thing I can do is wish you good luck as the situation unfolds on you" (good grief!)
I blocked the number, and also reported it to this site:

Scammers pretending to be from the IRS, trying to get information and $. They are Indians from India or Pakistanis
I just had some fun with them. After hearing his pitch, I asked what the infraction was. "I cannot tell you at this time." He then told me that they tried to deliver the letter to me via Fedex. I asked him for the routing number and he again said, "I cannot tell you at this time." I said, "It seems like you cannot tell me anything, but you want me to tell you everything." He got mad and said, "I'll see you in court then!" and hung up. I called them back several times and they keep hanging up on me. I thought it was fun! Perhaps I need to get out more.
