I do feel so sorry for you.
I strongly believe that someone is demonstrating strongly narcissist behavior.
Usually they return with anonymous phone calls.
According to your feelings after a run-in with a Narcissist, you will feel insane, exhausted, drained, shocked, suicidal, emotional , depression , anxiety and empty. It cripples you for the rest of your life. Remember the Narcissist will hoover for no other reason on than to get another chance to hurt you , accuses you of emotions that they are intentionally provoking and they come up with constant daily dramas .
Some times you have to stop loving the most important person in your life not because the spark is gone but because they unintentionally make you feel worthless.

They keep calling but no one is ever on the line when we answered. They've been calling for days.

Called & left no message. Got a busy signal when I tried to call back.
"Greg" asked me (1st quest) "Do you own your own home?" I asked if he was robot, he said "ok, goodbye." If it is not patent scam, Greg may correct me on this, but I don't think he will.
