Just received this call. It went to blocked calls on my phone but upon seeing the number-AT&T Universal Card Services Customer Service- I thought I should call back. I got a recorded voice telling me to give my credit card number or social security number. I hung up. The call sounds very believable. I then ran a search on the number and found that it's a scam. The number is 1-800-323-4343.

Called yesterday with recording- hit the number to talk to someone - guy comes on the phone - asked whom they were calling for-guy says Fuck you and hung up.

I called the number back and it asked me to id myself in one of two ways...#1 - giving my full credit card number or #2 - providing my 9-digit SSN. Definitely a scam.

Why is nothing being done to stop this? They just called 3 times within the past 30 minutes. Husband has had a stroke and cannot sleep because of constant phone calls, which I do not answer but have to check anyhow because of his medical needs.

Rec'd call at about 7:30 this morning local time!! I didn't answer and answering machine picked up. However, no message was left. CID only showed phone # and "ATT Universal."

I called back later to check on caller, and got operator recorded message that number "no longer in service." Therefore CID info spoofed.
