It originated from me emailing Loan Max in Va. about a loan they didn't acknowledge my call but gave out my info to every other loan scammer out there across the U.S. so be careful with Loan Max they must be scammers also.

I got several calls stating that I owed different amounts from a auto loan that I never got. The caller threatened to have his investigators show up at my house throw me in jail. He screamed at me and was rude. I refused to be treated like this and hung up on him.

Even if you DID get a loan, which I believe that you did NOT, debt collection issues are CIVIL matters and NOT criminal matters. Under the Fair Debt Collection Act, it is ILLEGAL for them to threaten you with arrest, criminal prosecution, etc. Document such calls and go to your local police station. Have THEM call the number pretending to be you. I've done that with other scams. You would be amazed how quickly they change their attitude from cocky and mean to cowardly when they are told that a police officer is on the phone and their phone number and location have been traced and being reported to the FBI!!!
