Did not answer the call, but should have. These are emergency alerts for your area.And they may save your life or someone else's.866-419-500. Believe me I get a lot of robo calls and now texts.Block everyone. If it is not a call forom your now living area you should finf out how to change that. If I get call anytime day or night I don't care. What if it's a tornado, I would definitly want ed know. I have personally been in a tornado, several hurricanes, including Micheal which I lost my home, I amstill in a shelter.I got a call yesterday because of the freeze warnings.

Why would emergency service be calling from another state?

Scam caller. I blocked them using CPR CALLBLOCKER.

CodeRed is an Emergency message system that many municipalities use to get word out to their citizens via a robocall. Many times it is severe weather warnings for the call recipient's location
or community emergency such as an Amber Alert.
CodeRed is NOT a scam or spam! If you don't want the call, call your city hall... they signed you up if, you didn't sign up yourselves.

They called me in Texas! Then when I called back, they said there was no record of them calling my number in the last 30 days.

Unwanted robocall from the local thugs who work to oppress taxpaying citizens every day for victimless crimes. They call themselves the sheriff's office. I called back to try to opt out of this garbage, but nothing happened.

This is a Reverse-911 system that notifies people of emergencies in the area. This evening I received this call saying there is a state-wide (Washington) outage of the 911 system and gave alternative numbers to call. This was verified by my county's social media page.
