Just got a call a few minutes ago from some lady who didn't even identify herself. Just asked if I was my son's mother (she used his name) and said he had expressed interest in SAT testing. LOL Well, my son is home schooled and after I laughed at her and said my son doesn't even know what an SAT is she just hung up the phone. I called back and left a message about the phone call and for them to at least call me back to let me know if they are trying to scam folks and sorry that I didn't fall for it.

They are offering a college SAT prep course/cd's. I already told them NO....that I have two through or in college, and that my youngest could take FREE prep courses on line, and to stop calling!!! They call at least two times a day, seven days a week!!! I called them back, and told them they were asses, that I had already said NO., and to quit calling my house, and that I have already reported them!!! I have had to put them on my blocked list......I will be calling the phone company next to get them to stop!!!

To be sure everyone knows about the National Do Not Call Registry, a service of the Federal Government::

1. If your number is on the Register, telemarketers are not supposed to call you - A consumer who receives a telemarketing call despite being on the Register will be able to file a complaint with the FTC, either online or by calling a toll-free number. Violators could be fined up to $16,000 per incident.

2. Here's how to register your phone number with the National Do Not Call Registry. Go to: https://www.donotcall.gov/ and follow the simple steps to include your phone number on the Register.

3. Once your number is on the Register, if you get a call from 888-260-4306, REPORT THEM directly to the Registry (see URL above) and/or go directly to the FTC and use the FTC form https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/FTC_Wizard.aspx?Lang=en. If enough of us file a complaint, it should force them to stop their cold-call telemarketing.

4. Assert your rights!

Bank of America and other large soulless and ruthless companies SELL your information to them and other scam artists and call them "affiliates" to end run the do not call lists.

I'm tired of unwanted calls. I've been on the DNC Registry for years.
The FTC should be reading these complaints instead of requiring a form to be filled out.

They never leave a message if they get the machine and other complaint sites all say the same thing about the calls being unsolicited and aimed at their children's cell phones a lot of times.
