Just got the same call! Called them back and no one answered!

They are getting a little smarter - this time it was a recording in very clear english stating they were the IRS and this was in regards to a tax fraud issue and I better call them right away or be persecuted.

Same as the others, received a call from a 360 area code... Heavy accent, calling from The us federal Grant administration. Told to call 4088902003 with a special Id number to claim. Had to "verify" my name that they supposedly already had on file but I had to spell it for her.

Got a called from them claiming they are the U.S. Grant Dept and I told her I will send her the money if she kill herself. I called them back over 20 times and make fun of them until they block my number hahaha...

Because of the DC exchange, and before I had looked up the number, because it amused me, I answered the phone "Yes, Mr, President?" got that same beeping xfer thing, then when I heard another person on the line, said it again, and THEY hung up!

Called me yesterday, I didn't answer.
Called me today, I answered.

Me : "hello"
*beep* (as if it was a computer transferring me to a caller)
agitated voice : "hellooooooooo?"
Me : "hello"
*other person hung up*

Very very irritated! Told me I would have to pay " tramigen fee " then I would get $9370.00! I said "oh yeah"? The stupidity of people today I swear... I wish I could prosecute against them for this and really make them pay me all that money for all the mental anguish they caused lol.

They all have American names with Indian accents. One "superviser" by the name of Joe Thompson called me a motorcycle after giving me some gaslight about a bad connection. They know my name now, and I am not happy with this harassment at all.

Scam you cant really understand but they are asking you to verify information the government already has.

IRS SCAMMERS. Ridiculous script and hard to understand through their heavy accents.

Picked up the call and the phone rang before a heavily accented woman called claiming to be the government and that they've selected 17,000 individuals for a free $9,200 grant, no need to pay back. Said after personal verification then she can provide me with a number to call to get the grant $$. She was extremely frustrated and would not provide ANY information about herself the department she worked in, and e-mail, etc.

THEY HAVE MOVED ON FROM THE GRANT DEPT TO THE IRS... Now they are with the perjury department and have a tax fraud case against you.... and you might get in a big legal mess. The rest I could not decipher over the very very heavy foreign accent.

Just disconnected right after I answered. Was the second call within 30 minutes, first was from a MO number. Possibly related.

I received a call from some foreign woman saying i was eligible for a federal grant. She wanted my name and zip code.
