Allied Collection Service, Inc. - This is a collection agency located in Columbus, Indiana, specializing in the recovery of medical debt, higher education, municipalities, retail, and commercial debt. I have received a few calls from them, and they never leave a voicemail. I also received a notification from them in the mail, prior to when these calls started, informing me that they are attempting to collect on unpaid college tuition. This is a legitimate debt, so they are not telemarketers or scammers.

A guy called asking for my 14-year-old son by name saying he was with a collection agency and we owed $76 for a doctor my son hasn't seen in years. The whole thing sounded very suspicious to me. I was completely unaware for any unpaid bills, especially from that long ago. He was insistent that they had called me in 2013 and I said I had already sent the check. I asked why they would wait 4 years to contact me again? I asked if they could send me an invoice to show what this was for. He refused. I said there was no way I was giving a credit card over the phone as I had no idea who this guy was. He kept repeating -- very rudely -- his name and idea number and the name of the company (I wrote none of this down, but should have.) He wouldn't let me get in a word edgewise, so I started getting very angry and starting shouting over him that if I didn't get invoice in the mail, I would do nothing. He continued to refuse. He told me our address and clearer had my phone number. I told him flat out that I thought he was a scammer and I'd contact the doctors office directly to find out if we had any outstanding bills. He said I was being rude and ended the call. I called the doctors office, which unfortunately moved to a new practice after 2013, so they had no records on file for us at the new location. I *did* find out, though, that around 2012/13 their system *did* get hacked, so I suspect this "Allied Collections" (or whoever they really are) recently came into possession of this hacked list and is trying to scam people. Don't answer calls from this number, and if you do, don't give them any personal information or credit card info!!

I have been getting calls from 702-939-8300 for the past three years. They are always looking for the same person who is not me. I have told them that I do not know that person to please remove my phone number. The calls dropped for a couple weeks than started again. It was always the same voice and phone number but two names David or Damon. After three years I have had enough. They called me yesterday left a very weird voicemail. It sounded as if they were sleeping when they made the call. I called them today and went off. I made it clear that I know who they are and what they do. I told them once again to stop contacting me. I told him about the weird voicemail how they had called me before eight am. I made it clear that by law no company is aloud to contact someone between the hours of eight pm and eight am. David/Damon snickered. I told them that of the contact my phone again I will print out all call records from them to take to the BBB. He told me he would remove my number from their list. We will see.

I just received a call today on my cell, his name at first was David regarding anesthesiologist bill on 8/2014 for $258.56. I told him I haven't received any statement from the hospital. His insisting that I have to pay my bill or the interest will go up. I told him, to send me a copy of my statement, or I can make payment through their website. Guess what he told me, to search it online for Allied Collection Agency in Las Vegas. I called them up again that I can't find their website. and can't make a payment. I asked David to mail my statement it to me, but he said, to pick it up at their office in South Durango. When I asked him about his name he said he was "Damon", really!!! He just told me earlier he is David.

I told him that I had a missed call and that I was returning the call he very rudely said he couldn't help me and that I needed to tell him who I was calling for... I since blocked the number. These calls need to stop this Mr David should not be allowed to harass people!
