They spoofed a name from my address book!

They never leave a message. They use a robocall system. I called them to find out they had the wrong number, as I have no debt in collections.

Marked as scam by my T-mobile filter.

Ruthless. Refuse any agreement you offer. Will not provide written agreement confirmation until AFTER you pay them first.

Never leave a message. Number call is from doesn't accept incoming calls.

Yes every day sometimes 2 times a day, and suspicious there voice mail is always just Silence,

Just another annoying pesky collection agency thinking they have the right number

I got a call from this number and the person on the other end said she was with with Capital One (after she took about 5 secs to think about it). Then right away asked me for the pin number and password to my Capital One Credit Card. My card is paid off so there is no reason for Capital One to be calling me in the first place. And if this was capital one why would they ask for my pin number? I have never had a call from this number before and red lights and sirens were going off in my head the moment I answered the phone. Another wierd thing is they called my cell # but I checked online and I only ever gave Capital One my landline.

Allied International Credit: first they called from 877-451-2610. When I answered, no one was there. Less than a minute later, they called from 905-480-2665, asking to speak with Heather Bradley. I told them no, because no one by that name is at our number. They then asked me why she would put our number down. I replied that I don't know since we've had our number for almost 8 years, so either they dialed the wrong number, or it was given to them wrong. Then they hung up. I did a bit of digging and discovered the connection between the numbers: the first is an international number, the second is Newmarket, ON, Canada. looks like they robo-call first to see if someone answers, then they live-call. New scheme...I've called both numbers, and (surprise, surprise) cannot reach a live person. I've looked up our rights under Ontario laws, and I really hope they don't try to make an issue of this. We are not this Heather Bradley, nor do we know her.

Call / message from Allied International (Barbara). She asked for a person that does not live at my address. Will tell her that, when I get a next call...

Sent my wife and I a letter saying our daughter owed close to $30,000 for school loans. Funny thing... She had nearly full scholarships, we paid what little was left. She graduated 9 years ago, we have never heard of any loans. Also, she passed away 5 years ago. When I called the number(s) in the letter, they could not bring up any information from the reference # in the letter, but wanted us to send her death certificate. Would not or could not produce any info who the creditor/lender is, or why we have heard nothing from anyone since she graduated. Talked to at least 3 individuals, left message to 2 others. Total scam or attempt to obtain info for identity theft as far as I'm concerned... You're telling me a collection agency has no info regarding the creditor, or if they have the info,they can't give it to you?!
When I mentioned I have all the names of the people I talked to, as well as possibly recording the conversations, heard arrogant response from one guy, a lot of stammering from another.. One guy put me on hold and never came back.

They leave message saying they are one thing then when you call back they say something else.

it is not Capital One, it is Allied International(Credit Collectors)...but they do have a similar number to Capital one
