I call Td amertridae and that's the number i was giving to pay off my balance but i still have a balance. I'm about to report it to my bank becasue that's a felony and is against the law.

These people called me using an area code for my state to make it seem as though it is a local call. The callback # they left was an 800#, though ( 800-962-9898). They keep trying to fool me into answering their calls. I do NOT have any debt I'm not paying on, so these calls are totally bogus. I did some research on this company, turns out they're having serious financial issues of their own. Using a "cover #" as a phony caller ID is illegal. I looked that up. REPORT THEM when they call you. Also, here is the owner of Associated Credit's home #:

i recieved call on Tuesday 5-15-2012 at approx 12:40pm est. I did not answer it because they call daily and more than once a day usually. They usually never leave a voice message- this time they did. But it didn't say who it was for. "If you are--blank--call us back, if you cont to listen to this then you are saying that you are --blank." I have no idea who they wanted to talk with because they would not say a name. It is getting rather annoying.

just started receiving calls regarding a so called, ?debt? in which I have no such debt.

Carring a prepaid cellular phone for emergencies, not to receive a call, That was activated on November 9, 2009 and no one that I know has been given the phone number as it is an emergency phone.

But four calls from the same number, 1-800-962-9898, were noted as received calls on Friday November 13, 2009 and another call on November 18, 2009. No single voice message was left for a verification of the owner of the phone number.

On Friday November 13, 2009, the toll free number was called back but unable to speak to a person directly. Please let the caller verify the owner of the cell phone number and if the owner is the right person whom they are trying to reach, please let them communicate with me by only a certified mail, no call and no mail, to verify the subject directly in person.

No phone call to this number can be answered.

What kind of a business out there that sells one's prepaid cell phone number for tele marketers without the owner's authorization? The phone owner is getting hoarrassed and the business makes money?
