Got a call, they had my name and phone number. Said they were Capitol One and gave me the 800 955 7070 number to call back. I called back, though I have no Capitol One card. First they asked for the last 4 digits of my credit card, I said I didn't have one. Then they asked for my 9-digit social security number. It's all automated, try it yourself, they wouldn't stop asking so I finally entered 000-00-0000. At that point they transferred me somewhere, maybe to the legitimate Capitol One number. I gave the live operator my name (they'd already left my name on my answering machine, so I figured no harm) and they asked me if I had a card with them. I said I did not, and they said it was probably a scam. I agree.

Got a call from 1-800-421-2110 from “Bank of America Fraud Dept” which was a scam ! They told me I had a charge of $329.63 at CVS in NC, they had parts of a SS # and new I had a positive balance on my account. Told them I didn’t feel comfortable continuing as they wanted the full CC No, I told them I will call the BofA CC company myself !! B of A could not vertify any of that info - so SCAM !!

No this caller didn’t call me but there was a $500.00 deduction from my bank account thur PayPal to Barclays Bank connected to this number.

Called to say someone from TX opened a BofA account in my name. They had the last 4 digits of my SS and one acct.number, said they were from the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and gave the number 800-421-. They had Asian accents and wanted to provide a debt consolidation plan. They had info on my balances and supposed interest rates.

Yes. Have received several calls. Used to have Comcast Xfinity but cancelled because of numerous issues. When Jay told me he was Xfinity I hung up. I want nothing to do with Comcast.

This is a call from the Social Security Administration Texas region. It is used to verify appointments and to alert you that you have been sent a U.S. Mail notification about benefits.

Claims to be Comcast and that my security was turned off. Threatened to shut off my internet for 3 months because it was compromised and I wouldn't comply with him instructions

Tried to talk to me about our Capital One credit card. We don't have a capital one credit card. Kept telling me we did. Finally, he hung up.

i spoke to a Indian guy i assume and told me to shut the fuck up you little hoar after i told him i was not going to provide him with my visa card number he had asked me if its a visa it starts w 4 and if its mastercard its starts w 5 they wanted to give me a lower interest rate on the high credit card amount i owe. i could tell he was frustrated because i was leading him on like i was that stupid to give them the info and then when i told him i wasn't he told me off
