Nuisance Call

THIS IS A LEGITIMATE BEST BUY GEEK SQUAD NUMBER. I call it to use my Geek Squad Total Tech Support.

I received a call from this number and was told that my secure system was giving a signal that something was wrong. The day before I was told by an agent at besy buy that they call you. I goggle the number, noted that other callers said it was a scam and told the caller I would call him back. When I called besybuy I was told that noone form the co. had called me.

I recieved three immediate calls in a row and it only showed as a Minnesota number so I ignored it figuring that if they needed something that they would leave a voicemail. No luck. I tried calling back once I looked it up and saw that it's real and it says the number is a disconnected Best Buy number. They did call back five minutes later. They only asked if I was the person who placed the order, to confirm the amount, and confirm the state in which it was placed. It felt super sketchy at first, but my order was processed!

calls my house phone everyday. BEST BUY wanting to charge me to install a new Geek Squad issue correction. I have ask to stop calling.

Home based business

So dislike these callers. Got a house phone that blocks robo calls but have to wait for them to get through to block. Something needs to be done about them. Got my son today , he didn't know not to give out #s , but right after . He called and canceled his card. True jerks.

Pests!

A scam using a fake Best Buy phone number so it may come up as Best Buy Geek Squad. They're getting clever those little bastards!

When they called me they stated they were going to start legal action. When I curiously returned call they stated they were SSA.

Called and said they were from best buy fraud dept. They wanted to verify Citibank credit card info. I called best buy and they do not have any offices in minnesota.

Never leaves a VM

Called over and over until I Googled and saw some reference to Best Buy and answered. A gentleman with a heavy accent asked if he was speaking to my grandson, (using his name) I had just made a holiday purchase for my grandson at Best Buy. I told him I was the buyer and my grandson was the recipient. He said he needed to confirm that the order was not fraudulent. He asked for my email address and when I provided it he said everything was fine and the order would go through. They need to be clearer about what the call is about. So many scams out there that I was very suspicious.

Says you have a virus on your computer saying can you hear me sound like a scam

keeps calling, no messages left. Finally answered the call. stated there is an issue with my computer. Told the caller he was a scammer and then he hung up.
