i thought I saw where the IRS had ended these scams. sure there is more than one. I called the number back, and the person answering did have a very heavy accent.

Got the same message others are saying -- left on my answering machine saying the IRS were filing a lawsuit against me and to call them back at a number they gave. I was fairly certain it was a scam, as I don't think the IRS would just leave a message like that. Definitely wasn't going to call them back and give and financial info. I feel sorry for elderly people that may be fooled by this one.

Same call same Indian accent same 3800 dollars owed! Said name was John Mars. Asked to speak to somebody I could understand. Mr. Mars said could not do that and authorities would be contacting me and hung up

I have received calls from them in the past. IRS filing suit against me. I don't owe any back taxes in the first place, and they would be sending a letter, not calling. I received another call from them today, called the number back and male with an Indian accent answered IRS. No, I don't think so. Thank you for calling me and leaving partial messages to call you back. Guess I will have to block this number as it looks like a new number your are calling from.

I was called by this number as well, clear robocall scam. Still spikes stress hormones to hear a call that is worded that way.

Same as above said I owed 3,800 to Irs since 2008, Then I could not understand the Heavy Indian accent, I kept saying what I don't understand you. They Hung up,also said his name was Kevin Smith, This is one big Scam! phone number 360-216-1883.

yes same as above. called the # - man with Indian accent -asked him to repeat some words he said that I couldn't understand -then I was disconnected. obvious scam.

Same as above. Stated I was being sued by the IRS and this was their last attempt. It is an obvious scam. I wish I knew how to report these scams for possible prosecution for fraud.

Caller said they were from the IRS and were filing a suit against me. Know this is a scam as this is not how the IRS conducts business. Wants me to call them back - not gonna happen!
