i spoke to a Indian guy i assume and told me to shut the fuck up you little hoar after i told him i was not going to provide him with my visa card number he had asked me if its a visa it starts w 4 and if its mastercard its starts w 5 they wanted to give me a lower interest rate on the high credit card amount i owe. i could tell he was frustrated because i was leading him on like i was that stupid to give them the info and then when i told him i wasn't he told me off

Was on a phone call with Capitol one..(legit phone number from their secure website) lost my connection and got a phone call from this number.

Got a call from 800-955-7070, said they were Card Services. I asked what card, and she tried to tell me all of them. Called her a unpleasant name, and hung up. It showed up on the caller ID as Not Provided.

Stolen debit card. This number appeared with the charge for Capital One. It looks like someone used my debit card to pay their bill.

Starting calling me asking to reduce my credit interest rate and requesting private account information for non capital one accounts. scam.

This is a well-known scam. The scammers are spoofing the telephone number of Capital One's Philippines Strategic Customer Service Partner to make it look like a legitimate call. However, the number is used for in-bound calls only...they will not call customers to solicit rate changes or any other so-called promotion. If a customer calls Capital One, and requests a call-back, chances are the call-back will come from this number...or another strategic partner. The scammers are hoping an unsuspecting customer answers the call, and gives them the information needed to steal their identity. Be safe!!! Don't answer the call if you aren't expecting Capital One to call you. Simple!

Phishing or worse. He said Visa / Mastercard and due to my ??? rate & my Experian report I qualified for a reduced interest rate. I asked who he really was, and he replied Visa / Mastercard. I replied, "you sure don't sound like..." This is when his manager disconnected the call.

My phone went off with a red back display this call is so hot with scam. This is NOT a legit call.
The real Capital One would NOT know my cell number ever as I don't do business on it. Furthermore, I don't have or use credit cards period. There is no Master Card account ever.
These callers are scammers of personal and financial identity and information. Keep it to yourself! Do not give these criminals what they want.

It was the real Capital One Bank number however Capital One did not call so this is a spoofed scam call

Got a call from this individual claiming to be from Master Card wanting to lower my interest rate. I have a card but have not used it inover two years. I do not even carry it with me. I said no and hung up before he could go into his scam routine. Blocked call.
