Identity theft and bogus debt collection has been associated with this international "debt collection agency". Cedars Business Services, aka Cedar Financial and most recently Globiling are some of the "company" names associated with this phone number. Cedars/Cedar/Globilling and the "CEO" have strong ties with the TMC Group, which has been caught up this year in a "Nigerian debt collection scam". Callers from this company give a fake name. They live and call from unknown locations outside the country. 818-224-3800 uses robo call systems to call you without answering or leaving a voice mail.

They first leave you a message from a woman named Rachel from Cedar Financial telling you its call from a debt collector, they instruct you not to erase the message and "to call one of their courteous agents" at 818-936-6239. They sound professional but this is a scam, do not call back.

They call me all the time and they said I got a traffic ticket in Italy. I never received a traffic ticket or even recall seeing a police officer. I was really worried about this until I saw this site saying that it is a scam! Thank god I didn't pay them!

Left me two message saying they were Cedar Finance and they were calling to collect a debt. Told me not to erase the message until I called them back. Of course I erased it and blocked the number although they are probably calling from a different number because the call never even shows up on my phone. I just notified that I have a voice message.

This idiot company from Cedar Financial is violating the do not call list and the Debt Collections Practices Act!!! Report them now and file a lawsuit against them in federal court!!! They called me 3x for a person non-existent on my phone number!!! I have sent them letters demanding cease and desist. I have also called them and argued with the reps (idiotic people). I have consulted with a debt collections attorney who has filed a complaint in federal court. He is 100% certain Cedar Financial will cough up $1000 for violating the Debt Collections Practices Act!!! And the legal fees are paid for by Cedar Financial!!! If you received a call from them, call an attorney and sue them in federal court now!
