Chase Receivables Collection, leaves no message
Called and said she was from Chase Receivables. She wanted personal info like D.O.B. I said no. She got an attitude said she would mail it, so I hung up.
I too received numerous calls from this number stating they were Chase Recievables. I called Chase Bank and advised them of the messages being left that I owe money. They checked the number and confirmed that this number does not belong to chase nor do they call and leave messages. Advised that only accounts that are past due or overdrawn over 30 days will receive a letter in the mail. They do not call you and request personal banking information. Do not provide any personal information over the phone. Always call the company if there is anything suspicious regarding call. Best advise I can give is that if you don't know the number let it go to voicemail.
Received a call from them. The number traces back to a cell phone in Jersey City. If they are a collection agency they are not legit. I worked at one for 12 years. They did not give the mini miranda required by the FDCPA Law and they have to tell you why they are calling, not just phish for information they should have already in their files.
