Call about collecting deceased relative’s debts. Gave them no information

This company called to collect from my DECEASED niece and during a pandemic! The woman said, I am calling to see who handles financial matters for the DECEDENT.... I will NEVER pass on this number to the family... HOW insanely heartless....

My step daughter of less than 2 years received a call wanting to know who was in charge of my mom's estate. I knew it was a scam do I am not even going to bother calling them back.

We started getting these calls as well, 30 days to the date since my father passed and he was paid in the future on a lot of his bills, he did not carry any debt.. they can send a bill if there’s something we missed, but definitely sounds like fishing for info.

DCM called and refused to identify what the purpose of the call was. They wanted the name of the deceased to look up to see which department they needed to send me to. They called, you would think they would know. My family all passed away before 2001. Annoying and dishonest fishing scam I am sure

I received a call last night from this number asking if I was the one handling the estate of a friend of mine, not even a relative.

It was a lady that left the message saying she was from DCM Services and that she needed to speak with my father in law. As she is leaving the message she states, "If you are not (states my father-in-law's name), then do not continue listening to this message", she pauses for a second or two, and then says something about collecting an outstanding debt under the "late (my father-in-law's name)" I'm like, um...if he's deceased he isn't going to be able to listen to his call you weirdo...!!! I'm glad that I didn't answer and that I googled this number. People are unbelievable!

This company preys on the emotions and vulnerable of the living who's had a family member pass away seeking payment of deceased debts. DO NOT ANSWER/CALL/ OR COMMUNICATE WITH DMC. Family DOES NOT inherit deceased family debt! PERIOD!!!!!!

Called and did not say what company they represent, just their own name. He was looking for the person who is handling a relatives estate. This person has no unpaid bills. There is nothing to call about.

They called us about a recently passed member of our family and said they were collecting unpaid bills. Once I heard what they wanted I hung up...….I knew it was a scam.

Just won't stop calling. This is a law firm and they are calling about a deceased client's credit card!!!

This company called my house phone and my cell phone, didn't answer either one, but I did find out that one of my husband's credit cards reported to the credit agencies that he is deceased, he not, his dad who had the same name only he was Sr. has been dead for 12 years now.
