THEY CALLED A LOT OF PEOPLE WHO I HAVE NOT BEEN IN CONTACT WITH FOR A LONG LONG TIME BUT I AM HAPPY THEY GOT A HOLD OF ME BECAUSE I OWED ON A LOAN I TOOK OUT AND COMPLETELY FORGOT ABOUT THEY HELPED ME GET BACK IN ORDER AND GAIN PIECE OF MIND. SEEMS LIKE THE ONLY PEOPLE COMPLAINING ARE THE ONES THAT DON'T WANT TO PAY WHAT THEY OWE SHAME ON ALL OF YOU.!!! THEY ARE NOT A SCAM MY CREDIT HAS EVEN IMPROVED SINCE MR. WILLIAMS HELPED ME.
Blocked the call because it had the sound of someone trying to be important but giving no information.
Said she was with the "Attorney's office" and needed to call immediately referencing a case number. Did not ask for anyone by name. Blocked the call and googled number to find a wide range of scam reports.
Called every number on our AT&T account and asked for our main account holder. Said they were with DFC Legal Services and were calling about a loan for someone named Belinda Malarkey (creative). It was obvious that they received our phone numbers and account holder name from AT&T so we called AT&T and asked to opt out so they will quit releasing our cell phone numbers to scammers.
I identified this as telemarketing, but I didn't actually answer the call. I'm just guessing.
