For the last 6-8 weeks I have received calls from this number. Every time I ask to be placed on the do not call list. I am outraged by the fact that whoever is incompetent enough to make the call and not take me off the list can even keep a job. I get hung up on when asking to talk to a supervisor and often I get fed a line of bull saying I will be taken off the list. Please share this with the company that makes these outrageous calls

They call em every Hour and Im not a DIabetic Please make them stop????????????????

Caller: Customer Service

They call my phone 5 to 6 times everyday. I want it to stop.

Here is the scoop. This is their poorly made web site http://diabetes-carenow.net/ this is the numbers I have received calls from. (855)869-0591 (Jerry Supervisor) and (561) 325-7044.

Criminals who plot to defraud the Government and steal money from the American people have a new target: people with diabetes.

Although the precise method may vary, the scheme generally involves someone pretending to be from the Government, a diabetes association, or even Medicare, calling you. The caller offers "free" diabetic supplies, such as glucose meters, diabetic test strips, or lancets. The caller may also offer other supplies such as heating pads, lift seats, foot orthotics, or joint braces, in exchange for the beneficiaries' Medicare or financial information, or confirmation of this type of personal information. Additionally, you may receive items in the mail that you did not order.

Report the Call to Law Enforcement

Report the call to the OIG Hotline at 1-800-HHS-TIPS or online at http://oig.hhs.gov/fraud/report-fraud/. As part of your report, provide the name of the company that called you, the company's telephone number and address, and a summary of your conversation with the caller.

Non-Compliance Penalties
A consumer who receives a telemarketing call despite being on the registry will be able to file a complaint with the FTC, either online or by calling a toll-free number. Violators could be fined up to $11,000 per incident.

Anyone who violates the rule is subject to civil penalties of up to $11,000 per violation. In addition, violators may be subject to nationwide injunctions that prohibit certain conduct and may be required to pay redress to injured consumers.

Was very pushy and insisted on calling him back later, seemed to know our address and his DOB, but wouldn't explain the nature of the call. Scary, going to look for head office on these folks.
