The number is the actual number for the direct express card that people usually get their government benefits on but scammers somehow mimic the number to call you to try to get information the fake one will have a name in caller id like Rhonda Baker is the name that showed when tried to scam me.

The SCAM CLUE here is no return address or company name from which it was mailed. I called the number and woman who answered sounded intoxicated. Given such little information she was able to provide me with all my prodding, it was clear it was a scam.

This is a LEGITIMATE number for US Direct Express. This is a Federal benefits debit card which you receive your SS, SS Disability, SSDI, RR Benefits, and other FEDERAL BENEFITS. This is a LEGITIMATE number, and caller.

I received a post card form them.Did not call, looked the number up on a Google Search. Found this site, post card is presorted first class mail us postage paid Addison TX, permit no.602. Has the phone number 1-877- 411-6118.
Says on it; Drear Cardholder, We have recently received an address update on your debit card on 04/13/2018 at 5:16pm. It says; If you DID request this change, there is no further action needed by you.

If you did not request this change, please contact us immediately at 1-877-411-6118. They even added Thank you. at the end of the post card!

The caller told me my debit card has been frozen and tried to get me to give them my debit card number. They didn't say what company they were from or who they were. I did not give them any number or information on any kind and hung up on them. Everybody beware, these people are pretty slick.
