they won't stop calling even after I tell them wrong number

I got a new phone number which someone else had had before me. People from this number kept calling and hanging up --- because they drank their own fake cool-aid. I called them and told them to take me off their list. They said they would comply.

These ppl call non-stop so I have had no other choice but to download a call/block app from my phone provider & BLOCK them!
I still can se the attempts & its UNBELIEVABLE! Just “stop already”

calls my phone 10-20 times a day soliciting, I called and asked them to stop calling and they said they put me on their do not call list but the calls would not stop.
