FIA CARD SERVICES

Called to say someone from TX opened a BofA account in my name. They had the last 4 digits of my SS and one acct.number, said they were from the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and gave the number 800-421-. They had Asian accents and wanted to provide a debt consolidation plan. They had info on my balances and supposed interest rates.

Received a letter - Confirmed with Bank of America. This is a fraudulent letter. Do NOT respond to this number.

Got a call from BOA (I do have an account) but did not pick up. They left a VM the first time. Called again today - but I did not answer. BLOCKED.

This was not a call it was a letter telling me to call 800.427.2449 right away Stating "- we detected suspicious activity on your credit card and as a precaution, we've temporarily suspended your account." I do not have a Bank of America credit card and suspect this is a Scam.

This phone number showed up on a credit report inquiry as BofA. I did not apply for credit. Watch out!

No call. Just a letter about suspicious activity on my account and call 800-427-2449. Have not had any dealings or accounts in 30 years - S P A M !

1-800-427-2449 is a legit BOA Fraud Dept. telephone number. I received a letter in the mail from BOA alerting me to suspicious activity and suspension of my credit cart account and requesting me to call that telephone number. I did, and the representative asked for all of my personal information: address, telephone number, date of birth, email address, and FULL social security number. I provided everything except the full SOS number, giving only the last four digits. Although the letter appeared authentic, after the telephone conversation I felt that the letter and the telephone number could be an identity theft scam. So, afterwards I immediately telephoned the BOA Fraud Dept. at the telephone number listed on the BOA website, 1-800-732-9194, and the new representative I reached was able to retrieve the record of the previous conversation I had with the previous representative I had reached through 1-800-427-2449. So, this number is a true BOA fraud department telephone number.

Possibly BOA debt collector, but number is not familiar. Beware.

Calls about my mother's account but as they told me when I needed their help I'm not on the account so they cannot help me and I cant help them.

Bogus. VM says to call back with PIN but all you get is surveys for vacations, car insurance, etc.

They called 07/01/21. No VM. I checked out the number here and see it is a scam as I suspected. Thank you! I blocked it.

FIA card services has been calling numerous times a day for a long time. I have had four calls today from this number. I haven't answered any of the calls, and will not answer them, nor will I call them back.

Scammers from bank trying to offer a "deal"

Claimed to be from BOA. Just a scam call hoping I will disclose information. Do they never give up? I see this number has been reported as a BOA scam for several years.
