FIFTH THIRD BANK

Left a voice mail saying they are very sleepy then claimed they was 5/3 bank.

its funny, Our company let them handle payroll.....

I received 2 checks in the mail. No receipt explaining what they are for. At the bottom of the check it says "this is a bill payment draft which is drawn by metavante corporation without recourse

Also are receiving these calls from "Fifth Third" bank. They state that immediate attention is needed on our account and demand SS# and account numbers. Of course, we hung up, knowing that it was a scam. We have accounts with Fifth Third and discussed it and the numbers with them over the phone and in person and they assured us that all is well with our accounts, that the fraud division is on it, that they are monitoring our account for any suspicious activity and will let us know if anything happens. We are getting calls from two numbers-the most frequent being the 800-421-9543. We also filed a complaint with the FCC (www.fcc.gov) and got a nice response from them stating that they want to help but need as much information as we can give them and the more info they get the easier it is to find these people and shut them down. So, the grist of the matter: EVERYONE FILE COMPLAINTS WITH THE FCC and if they get enough, maybe they will be able to do something about this. We are getting as many as six calls per day. It is very annoying as we work midnights and we do not like to block calls or turn our phones off. However, there is a first time for everything. So, we are now blocking calls!!

Fraud Text RE: Blocked 5/3 Card

This is a fraud text message regarding credit card activity resulting in a blocked credit card account

This was a legitimate call from a financial institution to verify activity, scary its being spoofed to scam people.

This number is absolutely from Fifth Third bank collections. I have this company and had issues with their online payment section this month and have had to change my password 4 times already. The minute you pass the 1st of the month the automated calls start even though there is a grace period. My mortgage has been paid but because it has not been taken from checking as of today, it is considered approaching late. I have received 7 calls already this morning. So wish they would sell my mortgage.

Asking for personal info

they call extremely early in the morning...they ask for the last 4 digits of your social security...
they ask if you are so and so..they say there has been a change in your account...then I hung up! I was very sleepy so I did not catch which bank they said they are from or exactly how they started the call.

Thief pretending to be the it's and wants money need to find them and kill them and their families

Call from a Karen. When called back she isn't available and they won't say what company or anything. Just want student loan info. Don't give info out.
