Calls by robot at all hours says collection

multiple calls, no voicemail

left a voice mail to call them vack, gave no info about what the debt is or who its with.

left no message

they buy delinquent debt then harass for payment

they buy up unpaid credit card and medical debt then attempt to collect.

I got a call from these people and the lady told me that I had a debt on her desk but needed to give them my date of birth and other personal information and I told her I didn't want to provide her with what she requested and she thanked me and hanged up. I'm glad that I found this information online regarding these people. Stay away and block their number.

They call me saying I owe debt that just weeks after the hospital told me that I was taken care of and I no longer owe anything to them, I have received two letters from them, none of which had a return address and no proof of the debt.

A number calls, then hangs up and when you return the call there is a recording that prompts you to enter your social security numbers and other important details to supposedly take care of your debt. But it is just another way to get your information and steal your identity. An example of this is "Financial Corp of America scam" 1-800-880-8282

Ur bank wants to sell u a product, they hav called but they cant get ahold of u, so they use this unknown numbr to try n figure out wen u wil most likley answere ur phone, that way they dontmake theyr company look bad for callin 2 much, either that or,wen u hav a powerful mind, integrating mental tricks (such as the secret) 2 boost ur success, theres a group with a dvice that piks up on ur mental powers. They try 2 bring u down by having u focus on debt, this messes up ur rythm 4 attracting financial freedom keeping u enslaved as werkin class 4 these peopl. So cheer up, realize ur power is so strong they r pikin up on it n b evn more greatful every time they call. Ha p creating 2 u in the heavenly world u r creating, congratulations!

Have been receiving these phone calls for about 6 months now at all hours throughout the day every couple of days for a Marissa ...... and then it tells you if you are not this person call the same number(1-800-950-5762) and to key in your phone number and the numbers corresponding to your last name! Every time I tried to do so it tells me I am incorrect!
I went to the FCOA website and looked up their contacts and called the phone number they have on the "contact us"page (http://www.fcoa.com/Contact.htm) 1-800-880-8200 and actually talked to a representative and she supposedly took my phone number off the records. I guess I will just have to wait and see if I get anymore calls!
