Received an e-mail from First National Collection Bureau, Inc. saying I owed certain amount of money on Capital One credit card, which I did not. Called the number and they answered as a nursing station and immediately tried to tell me I could get a medical bracelet free LOL. I hung up. This needs to stop because I'm sure there are some who would believe this. The number they gave was 1-800-824-6169.

Received a call from 800-824-6191 to my cell phone, asking for a name I haven't legally had in over 25 years! My credit is in Great standing, I have monitored it for 19-22 years. I told the lady there was no-one by that name, she said she would remove the number (SURE she will)

This number is a collection agency -- First National Collection Bureau (FNCB). They call repeatedly although I have informed them that there is no one here by the name of the person they're seeking. I've had this number for over 5 years, so either they have bad information altogether or else they're attempting to collect on a very old debt. Either way, I feel it's a disreputable company considering they are harassing me and I'm definitely not who they're looking for. I've just added them to my block list since they're calling several times per week.

They called my office with a recorded message asking for a "David" to press one or call 800-824-6191. I press 1 and this woman who speaks very fast stated her name and "how may I help you". She did not state who she was with, and she had no idea why I was calling. I advised her that her company called me asking for a David and that he does not work here, she said she would remove the number then hung up on me.
