Received a call as well regarding a commercial account which is paid in full. I started asking questions and they hung up. I called back and they asked for my social security number!

FLP - Automated message about turning on service at my new house. Legit call.

Received call with a recorded message saying that my electric would be disconnected due to non-payment. I’m on autopay - payment went through. SCAM. I know someone who believed one of these calls and was scammed out of over $500. NEVER give money, etc. over the phone!

Called and told me I would be disconnected in a half an hour (not true), told me to call 800-670-6065. Most definitely a scam spoofing the number.

This is a legitimate number, however some calls that show from this number are scams. They are using a technique called Caller ID Spoofing to make it look like the calls are coming from the legitimate number. If you receive a call from this number stating that you need to pay for a delinquency, hang up and call your local FPL office directly to confirm your account status. Never accept what a cold call tells you as fact.

Left a message in Spanish. Claimed to be FPL claiming to disconnect services. I have auto pay! Made mistake of calling them back and their system asks you to put in your Social Security number.

FPL advising me that they are going to be inspecting their equipment with drones over the next 10 days.

Called in Spanish to threaten to disconnect power within 1/2 hour die to lack of payment on account!

Called said power to be discounted at work. We are on auto pay with fpl and have receipt of paid bill.

Legitimate. It is an FPL number. I just received a call informing me about drone flights to inspect lines. It was a prerecorded call that matched info from both email and regular mail about the drone flyovers. I imagine they make recorded calls for other stuff as well.

told me they no receive the last 2 payments.. on a building I do not own any longer.. we will disconnect you if you don't pay.. okay go ahead.. they hung up but gave me a scam # to call first.

Caller only spoke spanish had no clue what he was talking about, probably a scam, I do not have FPL.

Not a scam (at lease not for me)...I complained about them on twitter and they called me back. Customer Service was very helpful.

Sick and tired of these types of calls.

I did not call the number but googled it to find out it was spam call.

They call threatening to disconnect the electricity service. This is a Scam

This number belongs to Florida Power & Light. It's used by their collections department when you have a past due amount.
