Call me several times a day. They are extremely forceful over the phone and have heavy accents. I'm not a racist person by any means but i will not give any of my information to these idiots. Especially when they won't even tell me why they want it!

Called and identified themselves, would not tell me what it was about--not even that they wanted to collect a debt--and immediately asked me to "verify" my social security number (they had most of it) and other personal information. I refused to answer unless they could prove it was a legitimate call. Which they would not do, merely telling me that "information had been turned in to them" about me. Said they could not mail me a paper request because they did not have my actual address (which is suspicious, since they supposedly have lots of information ..). We ended call on a stalemate.
Never let these people intimidate you into giving them any information!!

Called me and I answered because it was a local number. Woman with heavy accent asking if it was me, I said yes but I could not talk because I was at work. Then she said is it ok if I transfer you to a rep. Clearly she does not know english. I just hung up.

They keep calling me wanting person information, says they are collection company. They will not tell me anything with out D.O.B, Soc. Number and address. I don't think so.

Calls my phone everyday said her name is Nikki Williams 317-829-0076. Don't know you don't owe nothing.

A VERY rude lady called and demanded I tell her my birthday. I told her no and she started to get a worse tone if that's possible and reprimanded me claiming they already sent me.... I hung up. Stfu biatch. I can't stand these asshats. Buh-bye.

person called my number by the name of dee she asked me to give her my birthdate. I told her no if she was calling me in regards to s debt she should have that information on file. When I asked for more information in regards to the company she represented she would not give me any information, I told her I was not giving her any information because she should have it.. I then told her this phone conversation was over and to call me when she has the proper information.

Got a call I kept asking who it was and what it was about all he would say was business matter for so and so. Said his name was mark but refused to tell me anything else, heavy accent and that i had to take care of this manner what manner and who the hell are you sure as hell not a mark!

IMC is shady, as all collection companies are, but they do legitimately have a debt collection for you if they call. My advice is to not speak to them, get your credit reports, and just take care of what you can. Also, they were fairly agreeable in the past on working with me so if you honestly can't pay your debt, at least work out a $20/mo payment. They will usually take SOMETHING over nothing. If you can't afford $20/mo I suggest telling them that. If your debt is huge, they may take you to court. If it's not huge and they can't get a garnishment (in IN it must be $6000 in debt to garnish) they may be willing to make a deal with you. Again, they're not always kind or on the right side of the law, but they are a real debt collector.

I could hardly understand the young man. He was looking for my husband and when I said he wasn't here he said ok I will take him off our list. I asked who he was and he said his name that I didn't catch but the name of the company was IMC Credit so apparently something went to collection.

GOT A CALL FROM A MAN WITH A HEAVY ACCENT. HE KEPT ASKING IF I WAS ME. I OF COURSE SAID NO AND THEY ASKED IF THIS WAS MY NUMBER. AGAIN, NO. WOULDN'T IDENTIFY THEMSELVES. THEY KEPT SAYING THEY HAD A BUSINESS PROP FOR ME. NO THANKS!

This number just called me. I did not pick up and they left no message. I saved them in my phone so that I know not to pick up if they call back.

Called me and wanted personal info...I refused...said I owe a hospital and drs office over$1000. I will only be paying by SENDING a check through the mail with a bill I have already received. They tried everything they could do get checking account info or a credit card number. NOT happening.

Very nasty woman asked who I was. I asked who she was and she said she was the one asking questions and I was required to answer them. She said it didn't matter who she was just answer her questions. I hung up. I belie
ve it is against the law for her to refuse to identify who she is or whom she represents.

I got a woman with a heavy accent, saying my name several times, incorrectly I might add and then transferred me to a man that tried to talk to me. I informed him he was calling a cellphone. He said it is ok if I gave permission for them to call and I said I don't know who you are and I never gave permission for you to call me and I hung up

I got several blocked calls over the weekend and a Latino woman kept saying a man's name. They finally called back today without blocking the number. Same Latino woman. I called the number back and spoke with a Marcus then his supervisor Stacey. She said they use Philippine callers to call and apologized. That is against FDCPA regulations to not identify who you are calling from.

they tell me they have a colloection from a dr. mohammand "someone" for $137.70 and want me to give them my credit cad number. I said NO. Told them to provide info, they replied they did not have any. only an e-mail from him. I checked my Doctors office and my account is "ZERO" and I have insurance to cover my cost. in Indiana, they will garnish my wages for free. no problem for them. sucker for me. I cant even do anything about it. No lawer will touch it, no money in it for them.
