Who is Dutch I thought Greentree files bankruptcy who are we even paying? Something's not right to me
Someone who said her name was Melissa left a message saying that my "sibling" at an address in Tampa had left my number as a message phone and that it was urgent I call her to give them his number. Scammers! They used my full name, which my brother would never, ever use. They're bill collectors masquerading as concerned property agents looking for someone in your family.
Mr. Franklin
It's Green Tree Servicing's Collection department. They call about 3-4 times a day with this auto-dialer number. Since I have no relationship with "Green Tree," I hang up on them 3-4 times a day.
Here are other collections numbers of Green Tree's that I found a list of: 1-800-643-0202, 1-877-606-7483, 1-866-300-1054, 1-480-333-2362, 1-480-333-4177, 1-480-333-4275, 1-877-606-7482, 1-480-383-2290, 1-480-333-6000, 1-480-383-2216, 1-775-560-8713, 1-877-778-1399, 1-877-799-9069, 1-877-647-7760, 1-480-361-6453, 1-909-579-3191, 1-909-579-3167, 1-800-652-7751.
Debt collector's calling all day long does NOT change whether or not you are able to even send them the money in the first place...
Another hint: with Android or an iphone, you can use send ignored calls to Google Voice which can play a pre-recorded message saying your number has been disconnected. If they insist on using auto-dialers, I will insist on using auto-hang-up-ers. :-)
Calling several times a day from one number and then from this automated number constitutes harrassment. It begins way before the due date of any payment and continues everyday. What can I do? They spend more on phone calls than the account is worth.
