Called at my place of business and then placed me on hold, would not leave a message for mew to return their call. After reading all of the scams and complaints here and them seeing who my employer was on caller ID maybe they changed their minds. I have credit monitoring, so if I owed anything it would ping. This is fraud.

Latest name, Cynthia Alexander extension #3439, from McCarthy Burgess and Wolf Debt Collectors, when I called her back she said what is your name, I said you called me, what’s my name...she said I just gave you all my information, so I stupidly I gave my name and she said no, you are not who I am looking for, so I said my daughters name and she said yes, that’s who I am looking for, tell her to call me. We don’t owe anyone money, so I called back again, after researching the company name and phone number and it’s a SCAM. I told her to lose my number and blocked it on my cell phone. People need to find a real job and stop preying on people who don’t know any better. So frustrating!!!!

These people keep calling and will not let up.they have the wrong person. I have blocked them but they still leave voice mails which I don't want them doing this or leaving me voice mails.i have it set up to "pickup and hang up". Why do they keep getting through

Reading reviews, got a call from Laura Dobbins???? Wants personal info...would not tell other family members who,what,why,regards to. Not returning her call sadly.

This is the second call I have gotten from them about a debt that was claimed as fraud on my bank account and this was in 2003 so they are telling me they are gonna issue a warrant with my local PD and send them to get me cause this was fraud on a Federal institution which I know is a lie because this was settled a long time ago how are you going to come for me now for something that happen 15-16 years ago so please beware of this number it is a SCAM to get you to pay on something you don't owe so they can SCAM you and your bank accounts ...DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BANK INFO.....I was apart of the EQUIFAX breach as many others this is how they get your info to call and bug you ...ask them questions and make them mad they will hang up

These people claim I owe over 1,600$ from 2010 to this day for a apt I lived at for 4 months... I've been in prison for the past 5 year. How can I have nicor if I'm in prison?

No idea who this company would be and no intention of calling them back.

Very threatening. Told me it was my debt. Never shopped or had a credit card in my name there. Checked credit report. No account.

Told them they had the wrong number and they argued with me. I hung up.
