Trying to collect a debt that the creditor has determined was fraudulent

Just do like I do. if I receive a call from someone who I do not recognize or know, I merely ignore it. If it's that important then they can leave a message.

refused several times to identify themselves, gave only "NRA" as their company name. after considerable search online, I found out they are a collections agency, not the national rifle association.
called them back and was told i have to prove i don't owe the debt to them from hamilton collection for an item i returned because it arrived broken... seven years ago
called the number back to request that they send me something verifying I owe this six or seven year old debt they are calling on and they hung up on me

After answering this call several weeks ago and telling them that the person they were looking for a 'LORRAINE JONES' is not connected to this number since 2006 when we got it, I was promised they would take my number out of their database.

Today the calls started up again. I have put MULTIPLE COMPLAINTS against this number with the DNC List. I have 'told them not to call' per the DNCList instructions. I have IGNORED their calls. They NEVER leave a recorded message. I don't know what to do.

Within HOURS of PROPERLY, LEGALLY Cancelling a roofing contract - within the LEGAL period allowed for this - with SCAM OUTFIT "INTERLOCK ROOFERS" I began getting calls from COLLECTION AGENCIES like this one on the two numbers I used to contact INTERLOCK. WE DO NOT OWN THEM ANYTHING, but we believe they are trying to RUIN OUR CREDIT as retribution for refusing to do business with them. They even tried to keep our downpayment, even though they had NO LEGAL RIGHT to do so. The two numbers I'm getting these harassing calls on are NOT CONNECTED in any way to each other in name or billing, and yet these calls started on BOTH these numbers within 14 hours after the cancellation. Coincidence? I don't think so. INTERLOCK is a CRIMINAL ENTERPRISE based in CANADA (google them - THOUSANDS of COMPLAINTS) and I suspect they have a NETWORK of other CRIMINAL-RUN COMPANIES that they conspire with, such as the one connected with this number: "NRA GROUP, LLC" dba "National Recovery Agency" a BOGUS COLLECTION AGENCY with HUNDREDS of complaints and LAWSUITS pending against them, as well as State Atty General INDICTMENTS in several states and INVESTIGATION by the FCC and the FTC. DON'T ANSWER their calls or give them ANY information.

Not sure type of Call but wont stop calling im paying for minutes everytime check voicemail And blank or unidentifed recording

I answer and no response followed with the caller hanging up.

Just bought this phone awhile ago, it gets many calls from this number. The only person that has this number is my wife, and I know its not her calling, so I never answer. They must be after who ever used to own this number.
