Calls every single day and leaves the same robo message.

Yes they also called. It's the Navy Federal Credit Union...their Fraud Investigative Office. They are good secured/safe company.

Sent an SMS, presenting as Navy Federal. The automated message then requested my bank account number. Contacting Navy Federal now to alert/clarify.

was connected from another telephone number 813-231-1059 to this number. Well I am out $20K because I fell into a big fat scam. I hope Amy Flores and Kevin are enjoying the money they stole from me.

SCAM text

Caller: Unknown

Called my wife impersonating NFCU, asked her for social security number and date of birth, then said that this was a mistaken callback and hung up.

OMG!! My spouse received a text supposedly from Whole Foods saying that they are looking for mystery shoppers for Whole Foods. As a former mystery shopper, I was excited to get back in the field that i am very fsmiliar with. So my spouse filled out the e-form with my contact info. But, i did not hear from them until last week(11/19) when i received a mail containing a letter and a cashiers check for $1950. Upon opening the letter, i could tell right away that this was a SCAM! Check was from Navy Federal Credit Union. Whole Foods, a subsidiary of Amazon, banks with NFCU!! NO WAY! Then, there were so many different names involved in this "job": different name on letter, check, email, and text. WHO AM I DEALING WITH IF THERE IS A PROBLEM? Next, the email address to submit my report is not @wholefoods.com or @amazon.com. But the biggest giveaway was the urgency of completing the assingment. The assignment is for the mystery shopper to visit stores (NOT WHOLE FOODS) to purchase 2 American Express giftcards totalling $1500. And then to txt the giftcards info to 3463664252. If the assignment is completed within 12 hrs after receiving the mail, the shopper is given $250 as bonus. In my experience, a mystery shopper doesnt get a check prior to assignment. Second of all shopper has to sign paperworks with employer as a contractor/employee, just like any other REAL, LEGIT jobs.
The question now is, where can i go to make a complain or expose this so that others dont fall prey?

This is still going on and I fell for it. Do your research first. I didn’t.
