"Rose Charles" from "Performance" called looking for my ex-husband I divorced three years ago, claiming that she had personal business with him, but "federal laws" prevented her from giving out information, but she needed information. Kept asking if this was a good number to reach him at. Couldn't tell me exactly what federal laws she's referring to. When I asked her where is her office located, she said she couldn't give me that information. I told her that if she has his contact number, she probably has all the other information on him that she needed. What an idiot. Oh, and this number has been calling my phone twice a day every day for MONTHS. I usually never answered because no voicemail was left, but I wasn't thinking this time and picked up. Oy vey.

called asking for an Acquaintance of mine and said he had given them my number as a reference. Then asked if I could give them his number. I said no and she said well he game me your number so why cant you give me his? she was very insistent and upset that I wouldn't give her what she wanted.

Calls at least twice daily and on Sundays...

They called my sister and said they were "handling my financial affairs." !!! She gave them nothing. Thankfully.

I received a call from this number asking information about my daughter and when I ask a reason, he just continue asking. Was respectful, manipulative and said that I didn't want to help her. He said that he was giving me the permission to talk about her. Of course I didn't give him any information; I know he will try again that what he said.

This person called up and said she had business with me. It sounded like kids or someone was in the background. She was fishing for information.

Started calling me 11/3/14. On 11/7/14 I answered and asked who are you and how did you get my #. All this female would say " are you _ _ _ _ -_ _ _" and I kept on asking who are you. Finely I got pissed and told her if you don't identify who U-R & what U-R calling about I am reporting U to the FCC. She then hung up.

They collect for back taxes for the IRS. They went into my bank and took $2600.00 which was for my son and say I still owe $1500.00 I can't afford to pay them all at once, but they don't care. They stole money that was not mine. They put a lien on my bank account. I had to get a prepaid debit card in order to pay my monthly bills or I would have been out on the streets. They are rude and pushy. They need tact and diplomacy, and the IRS is a disgrace to the US. Now that's who congress needs to get control of, those A-Holes.

Asking for someone who doesn't live here at really early morning time.

I had an account with this collection agency a few years ago. I have since filed bankruptcy. This company is now calling my cell phone frequently and asking for someone of a different name. I have told the caller on several occasions that I don't know the person they are looking for, nor do I have an account with them any more due to my filing bankruptcy and that he should not be calling me. They continue to call me anyway and each time claim it's the first time they've called even though I've spoken to the same person each time. I called the company and requested to speak to a supervisor and I was transferred to the same person who had been calling me instead. When I asked him for a supervisor he refused to let me speak to one. When I again told him that I filed bankruptcy and he is not supposed to call me, he claimed he can call me any time he wishes to "get information"

These a-holes have been calling me for months. I am up to date on every bill and I paid off my student loans years ago. They have no reason to call me yet they do it anyway. Sometimes I get pre-recorded messages looking for someone I don't even know.
Today, I got so angry I called back and went on a profanity laced tirade to the poor woman who answers the phones for them. I screamed at her to take my number out of the data base. Of course, I am betting that the calls will continue.

illegal collection scam

They have to be a collection company who else would call four times a day.

Keeps calling my cell phone, I don't answer unknown numbers. Only people I know have this number. So this scammer is either calling numbers at random until they get an answer or someone has given them a bad number to get them off their backs. Either way, I'll never answer a call from them.
