Gave the name of Steve Moder - could have been Maden. Mentioned "enforcement by the US Treasury." I did not return the call.

Same Indian guy, with the name of Pete or Dave Madden. I couldn't totally understand him. Also, he said I am calling "you." He didn't even have a name. What I don't understand is why people like this aren't arrested or fined?

Male with Indian accent identified himself as inspector for US treasury department. He had my first and last name (I gave him no information whatsoever)he also had my husbands nickname, not his legal name. He said his name was James Carter. The call was from Seattle Washington 206-708-2849. He said I needed to take down this number 209-362-3853 to return calls. He had a case ID number and said I owed taxes from 2013 in an amount of $5450.34 and had to be paid immediately. He said there was a warrant out for my arrest and he was dispatching an officer to arrest me while we were talking. He said I was to appear before a magistrate judge or a grand jury. He was very threatening but there were too many things wrong. He had an old address from over 14 years ago. I am unemployed. The IRS would have sent me a letter, probably certified telling me about this. The last thing was his name, JAMES CARTER, from India? I've also had a message left on my answering machine a few months back and it sounded like the same person with the name of Dennis Craig but from another number, 1-631-318-8369 and the name on my phone was Amagansett. He says he advises us to cooperate and help him help you.

I received a call from 209-362-3857 and I advised that I received a call from this number. The gentleman had an Indian accent and he asked my name. I provided my first name and he stated I'd committed fraud on my 2012 return. I advised I believed he was a fraud and he yelled you will be arrested in 45 mins and disconnected the call.
