So these people called me and said I owed a large amount of money to a certain car loan account. I was freaking out because I know I didn't. I called the account holder and talked to them and they said that the third party people were trying to get months ahead of the debt. I was a payment late on my car account, but not the amount that this agency said I was. Also my account holder said that they had not sold the account or anything of that nature and this was a third party debt collector and she didn't understand why they would be calling me. So this sounds like fraud and or a scam to get extra money and doesn't sound very legit. I would say use caution and if you do have an account that they are referencing, call the account holder first and do not do business with these people.

I have no details as to whom is calling me. This number has been calling everyday, at least twice a day for the past month. Typically it is two rings and they hang up. Its aggravating, annoying and has gotten to the point I don't even like touching my phone for fear I might actually answer this harassing number.

Keep calling here and it always says "Please hold for the next available operator, this is not a sales call" I'm not holding on for anyone, I don't have time to sit around for these ppl to be connected through and reading prev. posts, I'm glad that I'm not answering. With all of the FCC Complaints, I'm surprised this company hasn't been fined and if they have been, why are they still in business?

I have received several calls (about 3/day) from this number or a variation of it. We are currently working with Greenshield, a legitimate debt settlement agency, and have learned to just ignore any call coming from unknown sources or numbers identified as "800 Service", etc.

However, just calling the number back with the caller id info results in a recorded message saying that my call is very important and to please hold for an agent. Of course, I hung up before an agent could come to the line.

That's all I can report right now.

Pretended I was listed as a reference for someone and that the number she was given on their application was not working so she couldn't leave them a message. Asked if I knew them and wanted me to give her contact information and told her no. Person was actually spouse but she didn't ask if they lived here or not so I didn't offer. Told her I would get them message. Found out it was Regional Adjustment Bureau Incorporated and they are a shady collection firm with a most recent fine by the State of Tennessee for unauthorized third party contact in March 2010. We have never received anything in writing from them and I think it is a scam b/c other postings about how they try to collect on invalid debt.

Tired of these harrassing phone calls. Rings once or twice. Never leaves a message. Begins about 8 am until 9:30 pm
I am handicapped and find it very difficult to get to the phone and then to have it stop ringing before I can answer is rude.
