They called 5 times today so far. One time, I pushed button to answer, I didn't say anything. A minute or so later, a voice said something about the company I sent my computer payment to. I hung up. Caller Id shows 954-429-5750, and the caller as Deerfld Bch, FL.
mentioned that they are automatically renewing anti-phishing software for yearly cost of $399. Need to call number to cancel subscription. Already have McAfee on my phone. Tired of this crap!
They called me 9 times today. Answered the ninth call, pressed 1 to talk with a person and could get no answers to company name etc. Just kept talking about Windows Security for life. Told the person I never signed up for Windows Security and never call me again.
Rec'd several robocalls starting after 9 a.m. local time. I didn't answer that one and no message was left. However, next call at 1:30 p.m. was answered. Was robocall from "Kate," saying computer support company going out of business and offering refunds. Needed to talk to agent to arrange this (press 2). No specific company name was mentioned. I hung up. After got same call 15 mins. later, I blocked number using *60. I checked call log and they tried to call multiple times at 3 p.m., which were all blocked! No more tries after that.
CID only showed phone # and "Deerfield Beach, FL."
