They called me and I called back and kept getting hung up on because these guys are completely bogus because i called the local police and i am reporting them to the higher authorities. They had my old address and gave some story about a book club that according to the first woman i talked to was opened on Jan 2011 and the next woman i talked to said she didnt know how the first woman got that info. I kept talking to the same 5-6 people and i asked to talk to their boss multiple times and kept getting hung up on. One of the women said that i already had spoken to the boss, which i know is untrue and because supervisors normally identify themselves and no one did. They also have caller ID because they knew when i called even over 30 mins later. Collectors do not do that, they dont know when you call because ive talked to a few. So if you get this call, block it or if you feel like it cuss them out because they deserve every bit of it.

They've called me several times and left a message. I finally decided to call them back today. The man that answered was very rude. He asked what number I was calling in reference to so I gave it. Then he said he was looking for me (he used my maiden name and I've been married for 13 years). Then said are you at (an old address) I said No, I'm n longer there. What are you calling for then I'll consider giving you information. He then said to me "when you decide to cooperate call back and we'll let you know what we need" Bull crap.. You called me

Great idea, Jim, call them at +1 519-622-4141 from a payphone then demand personal information! They sound like bottom-feeder collections, maybe for minor things that were questionable and ignored or faked to begin with. I am curious because I got this message at home and on my cell phone - I am with Rogers and no one else has both my numbers.
I've heard of Rogers customers getting calls and I get another one too, after I signed up for a Rogers home phone... 1 855 760 4841 with various extensions. There is another similar blog on that number in case anyone has them calling too. I might owe a minor thing from my last lifetime but I agree that some decorum would be appreciated - I get these darned calls at all hours and during work too!

No idea who they are. They actually called my work number. I'm a TN state Employee. Just said important business.

Who the freak are these people? They speak so garbled that I won't answer, they leave the same voice mail about "urgent" business. I don't know them and I won't answer "urgent business"! Never heard of them at all.

So glad I signed up for Google Voice so I can send these guys straight to spam and not hear the call come in. They keep calling for an old BMG music club scam from 12 years ago. Seriously they're putting this much effort into an $18 bill from two presidents ago? HAHAHA...eff off losers.

These people leave messages all the time. They're more annoying than a flea on a dog.

Left an official sounding message on the answering machine saying it was important to call them back although they did not leave a message as to why. I googled the number and ended up here reading stories similar to mine. In my experience, a person leaving a message about an important matter will inform you in the message what the matter is about.

I have received 4 calls in 1 week from 1-800-620-0371. Each time they have left message stating that they have attempted to contact me regarding an important matter multiple times and are surprised to find that I have not adequately attempted to contact them back, also that they will ALLOW me the opportunity to discuss the matter when I return their call. I have called the number left several times at all diff. times of the day and each time I reach their message machine. No details on who they are. I assume it is a scam.

Got a voice mail from Takhar Group regarding a private matter, said they were open 9a.m. - 9p.m. Tried to call them back and no one was available to take my call, wanted me to leave my full name, address and phone number. Sorry, not in this lifetime!

Received a call with a recorded message stating that I should have the decency to call them back. I'm not calling these assholes- seems like a scam due to so many people reporting them. I'm debt free and dont owe shit.

They have wrong number but continue to call. Called today and it went straight to voicemail.

Got a call from them on 6/4/2012. Very rude woman asking for a "Marilyn Beck". Caller did not immediately identify herself / her company. When I demanded her to ID herself she identified herself as calling for Takhar on a "private matter" for Ms. Beck (I am a guy with a deep voice - not very "marilynish" sounding). I told her she could talk to Ms. Beck if there was one but I have had the phone number Takhar called on for 2 years and did not know anyone by that name. Female caller then just went totally wingnut on me and screamed about me wasting her time (she called me and interrupted MY work). She hung up. Getting her ticked off made me feel warm and fuzzy inside. People from this number call me maybe once to twice a month and I always tell them there is no one here by that name. I suspect they recruit their employees from local forensic psych wards
