Same thing here. Getting calls from a 855 number, telling me I had something returned to my bank. I don't have a bank account.
Will be talking with the Police to file a report for harassement, and a Attorney.

These people call themselves Thomas & Williams and call from (855) 545-8116 or (678) 373-4603. The "managing partner" says his name is "Steven Thomas" and that he is a lawyer (There is no steven or stephen thomas admitted to the bar in Georgia). I spoke with an "Investigator Jessie Willis" who was extremely rude asking again for Tanesha Trujillo. Same people calling from different numbers: (855) 545-8116 and (678) 373-4603. Their address is: 1820 Water Place STE 195, Atlanta, GA 30339. They've been calling for months.

When I requested my number be removed as I have no idea who the person is they are looking for they were very rude saying "so you're saying you don't know a tanisha trujillo?". Are you kidding me, didn't I already SAY THAT!!!

The person on the phone told me to "F#$% my mother".

I got these calls too but they called the wrong person when they called me. I have been in the finance industry for years including collections. What they are doing and saying is illegal. Anyone who wants to know if you can be arrested like they say look up the fair debt act. Know your rights and the laws about what can and cant be done and said. I have an attorney and am suing them for this illegal practice and I hope you all do the same. It is not a scam it is a real collection agency but they do illegal things to collect.

Male caller, threatening tone, made a vague reference to a bank charge. Didn't say who he was calling from or to, but demanded call back or [threatened] arrest. Mentioned "reference file number..." but of course did not include the file number. Caller apparently began to speak well before my machine began to record, so details limited. Caller ID showed "Unavailable" rather than subscriber name. Call at about 1 PM on 21 Sept 2011.

Received a call from a investigator Slayton, from Thomas and Williams and that she received a compliant that was filed using my cell phone number. That i should return her call immediately and if i did not return her call that same day, then from my attorney of record.
I did return her call but I got a recording saying that the number was no longer in service. Not sure who she is or what she is calling about.

This person left a message “investigator Smith” said he was working with a firm called Thompson and Williams. He told me that I have a complaint against me and that I need to call him before the end of the day. He gave a 4605 Ext and a case number. The first thing I did was look up the phone number on the Internet and read all the comments and my hunch was right. So I went to my police department. And called the BBB. I won’t reply to the caller.

I also got a call from a lady that said her name as investigator Slayton she left me a message on my cell phone that she was going to find me and prosecute me also.
Number Slayton called from was 678 951 8692- haven't been able to track yet- but working on it.
She left message to call this 855 number with an ext. Probable a scam- we are investigating now.

Also got a call at work from Chief Investigator Braxton saying that a bench warrant for my arrest was going to be issued. Kept calling back even called my attorney. The call back number is funky if you don't have an extension there is now way to talk to a live person.

I also got a call from a lady that said her name as investigator Slayton she left me a message on my vell phone that she was going to find me and prosecute me I asked for some thing in writing and was sent an email that dosent look legitimate. When I called the origional creditor they told me that they had never heard of the company and not to pay them. I was very confused and attempted to look up thompson and williams and never found information on the company.

I received a call from this number this morning from "Investigator Slayton" stating that criminal activity has taken place from my phone number. She instructed me to call her at ext. 8695 to further discuss the allegations. When I called a got her voice mail stating that she would return my call within 24 hours. We'll see.

this is the direct numbuer to this guy claimming to be a cheif investigator of the law firm tompson and william he makes bogus claims of check fraud and thretens with arrest if u dont payB watch out this is a scAm report to the Ga and ca general attorneys office . i asked for the adress and they gave me a p.o box the extention to his direct number is 4605 please dont be fulled thay just want ur money report them asap!
