It showed up unknown its 214-377-5991 I didn't get to the phone in time so the answering machine picked it up it sounded female automated and it said "you wanted me to get the three ounces I got them", then a pause and she said "what the hell are you talking about I got the three ounces come meet me". Then they hung up.
Just got a call from same number saying Grandma I need money. I said your not my granddaughter and hung up. had caller ID and VITELITY, LL and 214 377-5991 came up.
With all these scams coming from this numer and others, why doesn't the FCC just black them from calling.
Some man called saying he was from a law firm looking to collect on an overdraft bank account from 7 years ago. He said there was a Federal Law Suit due to this small bill. He was very vague and said the name of the supposed law firm he works for so quick, I couldn't understand what he was saying. I have never received written documentation on this and honestly forgot about it because it was so many years ago. I think someone is phishing me for a scam! 214.377.5991
I received this pre-recorded message stating it was Educators Credit Union and they were sorry to inform me that my debit card had been suspended. I needed to press one to speak with Educators Security Division to have the card re-activated. I pressed one to listen to more of the call and decided to hang up. My called ID showed this number to be a Dallas, TX area code and I know my local bank which is Educators Credit Union is not located in Dallas and the fact that I do not have a debit card made me suspicious. I notified my local main office for Educators Credit Union in Waco, TX of the call and was informed they had been contacted numerous times the same day of the exact same situation. I did not give any information during the prerecorded call. I did give the number in which it came from to my local bank for further investigation on their side.
