Valentine & Kebartas - Debt Collectors

I miss a call from 713-987-3491, I called back and she insisted I was calling Verizon Wireless, I had already reversed the number so I knew I was calling Valentine & Kebartas, Inc., after I asked her 4 times finally said the company name, I asked her over and over again why are they addressing themselves as Verzion when they are not, refused to answered. She finally asked me if I was someone by a different name, asked her if one more call, I will be hiring an attorney. I have had same for 14 years and I am current with Verizon. I contacted Verizon and let them know that collection agency is making it sound like you are talking directly to Verizon. They said would file with fraud department, see if they does any good especially if they use them for collections. Just a law suit just waiting to happen.

A gentleman identifying himself as Tim Walsh claiming to represent Valentine & Kebartas, called my number asking for my mother-in-law and demanding personal information from me over the phone. I, of course, was immediately suspicious and refused to identify myself or reveal my relationship to my mother-in-law. I challenged him, repeatedly, to state his business, which he refused. I entered the search string "tim walsh valentine and kebartas" on Google. The first two results revealed that this was indeed a racket where the perputrators scam debtors out of money while posing as debt collectors. The gentleman was pushy, rude, testy, and became flustered when I pressed for him to identify himself.

One of the 800 numbers advertised phone number information. Similar to 411.

I bought Droid Razr phone, it overheated tremendously (as other Razr's do per internet), "Hotspot" didn't work, no "4G" as advertised for my area, data download less than .78mps to.63mps, upload less than 153kbps to .03kbps, returned phone & cancelled service within 3 days of purchase. Began receiving bills for $419 to $460 in Emails and snail mail. Called Verizon Wireless three times, they said they credited my bill but began receiving calls from Valentine & Kebartas every 5mins. to every 2-3 hours after only 35 days of returning phone and cancelling service - EXTREMELY RUDE people!!! The represent Verizon Wireless. Their computer data NEVER match Verizons computer data for bills. Continued receiving bills, called number - 1-800-941-3849 - listed as "Verizon Wireless Customer Financial Services" in letter from "Verizon Wireless", thought I was talking with Verizon Wireless rep. but they said they were "Valentine & Kebartas" working in a Verizon building. Was shocked that Verizon would do such a dirty trick to it's customers! I have documents to prove I don't owe Verizon but know Verizon could care less about it's customers. Verizon keeps claiming they "credited" my account but still getting same bills. BEWARE: collection agency for Verizon resides in one of their buildings so they can get through a legal loop-hole. Also, if you keep disputing, Valentine And Kebartas, Inc. will hang up on you many times when you call as soon as you give your account number or phone number and nothing more. They "flag" your numbers and won't talk to you no matter how nice you are.
Oh, and representatives at Valentine And Kebartis, Inc. will laugh in your face, hang up at will and won't leave voice messages. Even if you have Verizon representative call supervisor at Valentine And Kebartis, Inc. to tell them the debit is not valid, they will continue to try to bill you for services thru Verizon Wireless even after your service was cancelled.

Received a call about this number but it was spoofed under a number from my local area. British AVR(automated voice recording) telling me to call back. This number belongs to Valentine and Kebartas (http://www.vnkinc.com/), it's a collection agency for Verizon Wireless. I didn't call back, I looked the number up online. Thanks interwebs, now i know what to expect. If they keep harassing me, I will report them to the authorities.

Call with restricted/unknown number then say it's Greg Wills or Greg Willis and to call back (800) 731-7766. Never ID who they are. They now are telling friends/family they call that they have 'job opportunities' for me..... which I'd think would be illegal to say and thought they had to say who they are, i.e. collectors. Calls 2-3 x a day.

Mike Jacobs call my cellular phone and left a message about a credit card debdt that I owe and he basically told me that I had defrauded my mother because she never returned his phone call in a timely manner. Also he tried to get me to have my brother transfer the balance to his credit card to resolve my debt. To sum it up he told me if I do this with the credit credit it would clear up my debt and not mess up my mother credit and they wouldn't sue her. I want to now have my rights been violated

Valentine & Kebartas

Yes the caller said he was Mr. Wilson from
valentine and kebartas. They are a third party collections agency for a prominent bank. "A Full Service Accounts Receivable Management Company, " per their web site. Recommend: when ANYONE calls and the Caller ID is "unavailable" - don't answer it. Likewise, a "restricted" call. Someone is hiding something if they don't want their caller-id displayed.

If you owe debt to anyone this company will start calling you telling you it is SO IMPORTANT that you call them back by 530pm or today or as soon as you get this message as it is urgent.

They never say what it is that they want, however they are fishing or trying to get you to call them back. Do not call them back. My attorney said NEVER CALL THEM BACK and never give them any information. I believe they work for RBC Bank and other companies. I do know that you should not pay them anything as they are NOT a credit agency but a crooked law firm. They do not even identify themselves as seeking information in regard to collecting a debt which is the federal law. They can not by federal law just call and harass you, but they do. Once they have your number it is over and they call every day one to two times or more per day. All hours of the day and even weekends!

Just ignore them and hang up the phone. That is your best option.
