I am a receptionist and this number (which comes up as "Anonymous" in the caller ID, which is already quite suspicious) calls constantly regarding an "outstanding payment" for a Yellow Pages ad, and are now claiming that they will be putting it into collections if not paid. My boss (the business owner) has never put an ad in the Yellow Pages.

There's 28 pages of complaints against the number on 800notes.com. Most say it's a survey group (which could be a scammer pretending to be taking a survey) or legitimate one that is permitted. Otherwise a scam collection agency. Could be a Mr Kingpin spoofed number too. AAR, BLOCKED!

Check the site . . . it explains how it works and it costs nothing (for land lines) ! [And No, I don't have stock in the company, but I wish I did!]
