Showed on my caller ID as our local hospital. Caller said he got my profile from experience and wanted to offer a lower rate, I asked name of his company and he said visa credit card verification. I told him he was speaking with a certified credit counselor, he then said he could offer 6% then zero percent rate. His name is Cody, employee id# VX3084, said he is now with consume credit services, Phoenix ax 85773, refused to let me speak to his supervisor. I didn’t give him my info or acknowledge anything except that I was recording his call, I kept stating continue with recording, he got very angry and said he didn’t like how I was speaking to him. 😪

This number just called me. I didn't answer. I NEVER pick up calls from numbers I don't know. In fact, I rarely answer calls from numbers I DO know.. Why on Earth would anyone answer a call from an unknown 800 number. Unbelievable.

Called today, I pressed 1 to speak to someone and asked if they could please stop calling me, his (india speaking male) reply was "can you suck my dick?" um - this crap needs to stop because if I could find his ass I'd give him a reply in person and he wouldn't have his appendage anymore...

Claimed, repeatedly, they were from "Card Member Services" & calling to lower my interest rates on my credit cards and that he could GUARANTEE me a ZERO percent interest rate with NO hidden fees for the life of the card with WHATEVER lender picked it up...because he didn't know if it would be Chase, Capital One, Wells Fargo, or any of the other credit card lenders out there but he could GUARANTEE me that they would honor that rate AND fee free stipulation (BEFORE even finding out my credit scores) because of my phenomenal payment history. Somehow already knew ALL my card and other (CC numbers, interest rates, balances, and even the last 4 {at LEAST} of my social security number) information & only wanted me to confirm! Believable enough, at first...until I said that I needed to discuss it with my husband & he got pushy saying that I should make the decisions on my cards...sure except, as I explained, hubby makes the larger income and makes the CC payments & THEN he said that this was a limited time offer that most people would LOVE to have! I'm like..."umm...I THOUGHT you said that it was offered because of my great payment history?!? NOW it's a limited time offer?!?" I told him that I would know in a few hours to get him off the phone and I called my bank to get a block put on the credit card & get the numbers for the credit bureaus to report that I may be a victim of possible identify theft...since that's what my credit union banker advised when she heard how much information this guy HAD about me! Also, I don't remember the name of the EXTREMELY heavily accented woman who I first spoke with but the majority of the call was with a man named, if I remember correctly, Nicholas who I could tell worked VERY hard and was MOSTLY successful at covering his OWN accent...but it DID occasionally slip through!

I received a call from this number. Credit Card Interest Rate. I spoke to "Alex". Asked how did you get my number? Blah blah online. He has a foreign accent. Asked him the name of his company? Got credit card interest rates. I asked again for the name of his company...same. I asked where are you from? He said it does not matter. I asked are you affilliated with a bank? He started naming off all the banks. I told him that this is a scam and to please take me off your list. He threatened to cancel my credit card as I would not give him any info and requested to be taken off list and I said who do you think you are? Take me off list. This is a scam. He got loud and I could just barely get in again to say take me off of list. I then started repeating Federal Trade Commission a couple of times. I hung up.

I was called by this number and first played a shoddy, robotic voice that sounds like it comes straight from Microsoft's Text to speech software. I pressed 1 like it said to inform the agent that my number was on the Federal Do Not Call list and that I'd be reporting the incident as such. They then tried to say that I signed up for calls like this when I told them that I don't have a Visa credit card, they changed their story to them being from MasterCard. Of course by now I was well aware of it being a scam and the dude just started shouting, so I decided to be the very civil person that I am and started talking over him, telling him politely that when I signed up for my Master Card credit card (that doesn't exist I might add, I am minor without a credit card) I opted out of unsolicited calls such as this one and that if his company wished to inform me the formal and proper way to do so is via my mailing address listed on my card. He ended up hanging up as soon as I started talking over him. Bad customer service 0/10.

Yup. Same as always. Some days I'm in the mood to waste their time.

Quick way to mess with them, waste their time and verify they are NOT a real financial institution... ask if they have a pen and paper handy, since you don't want to have to repeat yourself. If they say they do, 100% chance they're NOT a real bank. Any place handling credit card info strictly prohibits the use of pen and paper for PCI compliance.

This number has been operating for over 10 years. Phishing for credit card numbers to "help" you with your debt.
