from Omaha, Ne... wells fargo bank? Gallop pole? they are calling me & my family 11pm, 1:30 am in the fu*king morning!!!!! 3am, 5am. No one on the other end of the line???? who can I contact to stop these crazy calls? I do not bank @ wells fargo ???? getting pretty PISSED OFF in Indiana...

BEST ANSWER: This number is used by Gallup - the polling company. The National Do Not Call Registry applies to any plan, program, or campaign to sell goods or services through interstate phone calls. Since Gallup interviewers are conducting polls and opinion surveys - not selling anything - the registry does not apply to these calls. For information on the National Do Not Call Registry, visithttps://www.donotcall.gov/faq/faqbusiness.aspx Believe it or not, many people are anxious to receive these calls and to express their opinions, but if you don't want to receive survey calls from Gallup, simply send them an e-mail with your phone number at galluphelp@gallup.com They'll block your phone number so they can't call it again." To add to that, you can ask the interviewer 1) Could you please remove my number from your system completely? or, 2) Can I speak with a manager? Then refer back to step number one. Another solution is to download a free phone number blocking app on your smartphone if you have one and block any number you like. There are simple solutions to this 20th century invention. Remember these are people calling simply asking for your opinion. Treat them like people and you should (hopefully!) be treated the same.

This number called me claiming to be "Gallup poll calling on behalf of Regions" and wanted to do a brief survey about my experience at my Regions bank yesterday. (Yes I do bank at Regions and I was at my bank yesterday; seemed legit.) I agreed to the survey but when I advised that I had only gone through the ATM and didn't see a teller, I was promptly hung up on. Sheesh.
