Robocall, says I was referred by friend or neighbor for a home security system. Press 1 if interested. "Walter" says he sees that I'm interested in a home security system. I say, "This is the consumer fraud protection division, can I please have your federal employer ID number?" Walter says sure, let me get that for you.... CLICK.

Didn't answer this time. The calls began about 2 weeks ago. They come everyday at different times throughout the day CST. My spouse and I both have been receiving them. We have Verizon as our cellular service. When we do answer, no one says anything for a few seconds, then the voice talks as though they are a live person, but if you sit on the phone and just listen, you realize it is a robo-call. At that point we just hang up. We are both on the DO-NOT-CALL list for state and national, which my understanding is now one.

Received a call, today 04/03/205 at 4:09pm CDT, gtom this telephone number, 1-800-555-1212, it was a machine telling me I was a "valuable customer" and I hung up .....
