A misleading robo call that opens with an unbelievablllle mention of "Trump" and "student loan forgiveness" in the same sentence, then makes an offer to be connected to a live student loan specialist.

The call insults our intelligence on many levels, including their "shotgun" approach to making mass phone calls, hoping to find a few people who owe student loans, and their total disregard of the Do Not Call list certainly tells us a lot about their business ethic, doesn't it?

Here is a transcript of this insulting, automated, intrusive and unwanted robo call:

[female voice:] "Hello, we're calling today to update you on the all up-to-date Student Loan forgiveness programs with Trump in office. Please press [1] to connect to an agent or press [2] to be put on our Do Not Call list."

NOTE: Why would I have to press [2] to be put on their Do Not Call list when I'm already on the Government Do Not Call list?

Claims to be from Kaplan University calling on a recent inquiry. Scam... I’m actually enrolled there as a student and have been for two years, non of their numbers are Texas all come through with a (954) area code.

Called my home and had my name. Told me they had my computer number. I knew it was a scam but how did they get my name and phone number?

Showed up on caller ID as " UNKNOWN " , said I had 7000 dollar grant and asked how I would spend it and how I wanted it delivered , cash or check , Asian voice woman , told me to call her financial manager at 646.751.7662. I will not call this number , nothing is free , I'm not that dumb ....gave me confirmation number of AN1021

I received a call from at the time from a unknown company. I asked who was calling? The rep refused to answer and asked for someone else. I asked for the name of the company the rep refused. I kept asking and the rep kept refusing I finally asked for a manager and was put on hold. I held and then the call was disconnected. I went to call the number back to get a manager.I then got called by 954-693-7689 and was informed he was a manager from the company that just called me. However did not identify the company. I informed him of the situation and asked for the name of the company. He finally told me he was with kaplan university and was looking for someone and starting attacking what laws that I know. I informed him of the FTC and TSR laws regarding identify himself as Christopher Worth and the company. He laughed and practically stated I did not know any laws and stated that he would love to see me in court for he can laugh at me. He kept stating he was looking for someone and I informed him this was my number. He said it did not matter that he is looking for someone. This went on as he continued to mock me until I hung up.

While searching a job board , I agreed to accept (A) call from a college Rep.
As soon as I got off the phone I began getting calls from colleges back to back within 5-10 minutes apart . I told the next caller to remove my name and number from their calling lists , and I blocked their calls when I continued to receive calls. I see that a call was blocked from this number just a few minutes ago.

I kept getting calls and finally I went to the Kaplan website and called this number. I told them that if I got one more call I would be reporting to the FCC. I was told my number would be taken off the list. Hope this helps

Keep calling me...stop calling

They have called me many times a day for the past year, i call back or answer and have asked several different people that i do not want to be called. They will stop for 3 days and proceed again with A DIFFERENT PERSON calling!

These people continue to call my cell number, I've asked them to stop that I do not want anything to do with their school nor have i signed up to receive information from them.
