Received an unwanted spam & fake call from this phone number.

NOT A SCAM - approved an MRI for my knee - called with the authorization number - was annoying that they asked for my birthday before they handed it over though b/c if it WAS spam that's brilliant

"... on behalf of Aetna"
Following up, my insurer said they'd would never contact me using email not via phone or text.
It's burdensome enough navigating carers and insurers as it is, the last thing I need is a third party in the mix.
It is a spam, unsolicited and unnecessary.

I will turn in to the fcc since they said they were the state dept

for authorization for a procedure from my doctor. Which I have none. They said they were from the state house. If they are saying they are are a government office is this not federal

Called about health benefits from a provider I don't use and used named that are not mien. Scam

Got this call. ID showed up as UnitedHealthcare (no space yup). The other end was a guy who knew my Chinese name and my birthday (which, considering I rarely display my Chinese name and my birthday is not public anywhere, they must have obtained by illegal means; not surprised since companies like atnt getting hacked left and right d/t their shitty security). But the guy only spoke mandarin Chinese and when I asked in English if they could speak English, he became frustrated and hung up. THIS PHONE IS 100% SCAM. THE comments saying this is legit are also scammers.

7632743889 is scam call. It looked like call from United healthcare. But it is phishing. Tell claim denied. If speaking Chinese. I am kind of feeling weird. As I am not with United health care . How I can have a claim. Never give personal information. Just hang up

the caller speaks Mandarin, pretend from United Health Care,
telling me that my claim was rejected.
threaten me that my credit score will be ruined,
I ask them , don't call me, I don't believe it and I block this number afterwards

This number has been calling my elderly Asian neighbor, need to STOP calling, cuz I’m getting no annoying AF; if they keep on callin.. ima ha.ck their fukin azz!!!

Caller: Unknown

This is not a scam, it is Evicore healthcare providing healthcare authorization status for a requested procedure. HOWEVER, you should never provide personal information to an incoming call as you cannot assure that the caller ID has not been altered. Evicore should be ashamed of asking for personal information via this IVR which could be counterfeited by an identity theft party. Call the number back directly to assure it Truly is Evicore. Evicore could get sued for this bad practice some day.

Caller: Evicore

This is not a spam caller; it's Evicore Healthcare. They called me a few days ago to tell me my insurance (Aetna) had approved my requested medical procedure.

On Dec. 22nd at 10:30pm. I received a call said he was from United HealthCare. But, I couldn't understand what he was saying. L
Sounded like someone was couching him what to say. He asked for SS# DOB Address cell phone #. I just kept telling I don't Know I don't no. He was little agitated. So, I Hung up.

Caller: Health Care Scam

It's that time of year. Autumn leaves. Football. And Medicare telemarketers. Called in the middle of our dinner.

Caller: Aetna

It's not a scam. I had asked my doctors office to get approval for an epidural shot and this is a message stating you've been approved. I don't get why many report numbers as SPAM when indeed they are not. It's your health care provider/ insurance company calling to let you know if you were approved or not!

Scam

Yes, called and answered.

Caller ID indicated Unknown from Virgin Islands. They left recorded voicemail. "Evicore Healthcare on behalf of Aetna" regarding authorization for services by doctor. It was a legitimate call, not a scam, but call originating in or routed through Virgin Islands made it look like one.

This is a number used by a United Healthcare customer-service representative to scam people. It's scary that people who have our personal information are also scamming on the side.
