Asking 215 dollors for free 8,400

I received a call today from Dale Brown. He claimed that he was calling from the U.S. Treasury. Claimed that his ID Number 1108 He said that I was one of 15,ooo people who the United States Treasury picked to receive $8,400 because I paid my taxes on time and have not applied for bankruptcy, or had any legal problems. He said that this was a one time grant only. He asked for any type of credit card visa or master card info. Then he said to call back in 5 minutes with a Grant approval number. He said then I would speak with a Michelle Mckinsey who is the manager. When I called the number another woman answered the phone. She said Ms. Mckinsey wasn't there. But she began to tell me how they were going to put $8,400 on my Walmart card (that's what I gave them which is a debit card and I gave them a p.o. box address). Lol. Then she began to tell me how they were with the Federal Bank of N.Y. and that I would have to go to a Western Union store and put $214.00 to cover the Taxes. I told her why in the world would I pay you something for free. Surely if the gov't was giving free grant money, they can cover the taxes. She replied I don't have time to explain. I said perhaps you'd like to explain it to the FBI. She hung up. But, you know, I am glad to be able to talk about this because I am very angry. Here right now, I am behind in my rent, about to possibly be evicted...I need a car to find a job and I get a call like this. I am so annoyed. I wish that I could find out who this is, have them arrested and sue them.

michelle makenzie called said I was approved for 8,400 dollars. michelle wanted my account information and my routing number. I have to send them 214 dollars western union in order to receive my money. Smh.....

Government Grant scam asked for my bank info and address etc and $200 to give me my grant money

this number I was given regarding a u.s. government grant of $8000 . I was talking to someone claimed to be Amanda lee working for the u.s. government. she claimed I had to pay a one time fee of $200 to get my money. I then hung up there is a 666 number I will send also next. that was where I got this number from both voices sounded automated. trying to sound like it had a legitimate business.
