Lol, yeah these clowns called me today before I began my work shift. My co-worker answered. Said it was a Julia Anderson looking for me and gave this call back number.

I call them back hours later when I get to work and find out they called for me. A man answers, I tell him I am looking for this Julia Anderson person, he says 'hold please'.. I wait about a minute and this man comes on the phone "hello, this is (some retarded made up name I don't even remember)." I said "hi, I am looking for this Julia Anderson, she called me at work today when I was gone" the man said "I am her supervisor.. I can look up information, what is your name?" I stated my name, he asked me if the last four digits of my SSN were **** I said "nope" even though he was correct. I said that I demanded to know what this was about and asked if this was a collections agency. The man said "no it's not" I said "what is this in regards to then? He kept asking me to verify my social. I said "really? I mean c'mon, I can't just give that information over the phone-- I won't give you that info if I don't even know what this is about" He got all quiet and said "well if you can't verify it then I can't tell you what this is about, how do I know this is really the person in question?" I continued to argue with him like this for about 10 minutes. I then asked him to please stop calling me at work and told him I could be written up. I offered to give him my cell phone number to call me and "harass" me at, he completely ignored that and started going off about how I am one of "those types of people who don't pay their bills and pay off pay day loans" and how they have a 92% recovery rate with the tactics they use to recover things. I said "OH! so you ARE a collections agency, why didn't you just tell me that from the start? Was that so hard?"

and I proceeded on to tell him that he was violating all kinds of debt collector laws and told him if he called my place of employment ONE MORE TIME I was going to contact the Attorney General's Office. He told me "Well you can and you can tell the attorney general to kiss our ass". LOL

I told him "If you BLEEPERS call me one more time, see what happens".

He had one of his minions call me back 10 minutes later and say "This is so and so and my supervisor advised me to call you and resolve.." and before he could answer I told him "Oh, now you both are in trouble. You both can for BLEEP yourself. You'll be hearing from my attorney tomorrow. GOOD LUCK!"

You're retarded if you give them any information over the phone. You're also a moron if you believe any of their scare tactics! Demand everything in WRITING! It is the LAW that they provide you with something in WRITING stating what you owe or whatever that is about. You don't have to put up with being harassed by a bill collector or scammer! Don't fall for it! If it's a legit company, they will have no problem MAILING you a statement or bill. If they argue with you or tell you they don't do mail, then HANG UP. Do NOT give them ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION over the phone! It's SCARE tactics to get money from you! GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING! YOU HAVE RIGHTS! DON'T BE A DUMBASS!
