a woman said i get a grant from the gov is was 9000 dollars

i got a call from a 02008 they gave me my info.. saying that i have the oppurtunity to collect a grant.. me believing as to: i had jus registered to school i expected this as an oppurtunity..2oo independence S W ave washingto d.c.

saying its an obama package as i was told to ask for eric johnson.. they also asked for 220 transfer fee also said its apart of the obama package


is this a scam...?

Marcie called wanting to know how to spell my last name. She spoke with an accent. She had all my other info...first name, cell number, address. She said she was with the government and I had won $9000. She asked if I wanted the money in a check, a Visa card or deposited in my bank. I told her I wanted a check. But I asked how could this be since the government had shut down. She said this had been done in the spring.
She told me my approval number and told me to call Eric at 202-738-4385.

These persons said they were calling from Government Bureau Department . They said the government was giving me $9,000 dollars, but in order to have this money transfer into my account, I had to go to Western Union and trasfer $250 to them.

the trying to give free money but they want you to pay $320 its a scam
